Dehradun, 1 Jul: Police arrested two drug peddlers on Tuesday from different areas of the city. A total of 23.24 grams of illegal smack was recovered from their possession. The estimated value of the recovered smack is around Rs 7 lakh.
In the first case, Kotwali Nagar police arrested a man named Raman, age 28, resident of Madrasi Colony, Dehradun. He was caught near JP Hotel in the Lakkhibagh area with 13.54 grams of illegal smack. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act.
In the second case, Sahaspur police arrested Akbar, age 48, resident of Kunja Grant, Vikasnagar. He was caught near Majri Sabhawala with 9.70 grams of smack. He was riding a motorcycle, which was used in the smu...
