Dehradun, 29 May: In a step towards the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit, the Government of Uttarakhand launched a 'Sanskrit Sambhashan Shivir' (Sanskrit Conversation Camp) in the Secretariat campus, here, today. The camp was inaugurated in the presence of all Cabinet Ministers and the Chief Secretary by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting and promoting India's cultural heritage and the Sanskrit language. He stated, "With this aim, we are developing one Sanskrit village in each of the 13 districts of Uttarakhand, and we are confident that the results of this initiative will be visible soon."
