Rupandehi, Dec. 6 -- The Office of Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Lumbini province has been moved from Butwal to Deukhuri, Dang overnight despite a call to postpone the decision to move the provincial offices until the physical infrastructure is ready.

Tilakram Sharma, spokesperson for the Lumbini province government, said the items of the office were transported to the permanent capital on three trucks.

"Now the chief minister's office will operate from Dang once the office is set up," said Sharma.

The entire team including the chief minister went to the Deukhuri after loading all the furniture and documents among other items.
