New Delhi, July 8 -- On the final day of the 62nd session of the Subsidiary Bodies (SB62) meeting under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Norway announced its new nationally determined contributions (NDC) for 2035, as pledged under the Paris Agreement. The country shared an economy-wide target to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 70-75 per cent from 1990 levels.

SB62, also known as the June Climate Meetings, took place in Bonn, Germany from June 16 to 26, 2025.
