India, Jan. 29 -- Material intensity and storage requirements are becoming the principal roadblocks to deeper renewable energy utilisation, even as India pushes ahead with one of its most ambitious reform phases in recent years, the Economic Survey 2025-26, tabled during the winter session of Parliament on January 29, said, framing the energy transition as part of a broader economic and institutional transformation.
