India, May 20 -- Yotta Data Services has teamed up with NVIDIA to launch Shakti Cloud on NVIDIA's DGX Cloud Lepton platform. This strategic move will provide the GPU power needed to build India's own AI systems, starting with the training of a Sovereign Large Language Model (LLM) by AI startup Sarvam.
The collaboration includes Yotta, a leading Indian data centre and cloud service provider; NVIDIA, a global AI and GPU technology leader; and Sarvam, an AI company working on Indian-language-focused foundation models. The project supports the Government of India's IndiaAI Mission.
