India, March 20 -- The Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) of Singapore has signed a contract with Oracle to implement an Oracle Cloud Isolated Region for the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The contract was officially announced on 19 March 2025. With this collaboration, DSTA aims to enhance its cloud security, data management, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within Singapore's defence infrastructure.

The agreement is between DSTA and Oracle Corporation, with direct benefits extending to MINDEF and the SAF. The Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) will utilize Oracle's air-gapped cloud services to support SAF's mission-critical applications.
