India, June 24 -- Krutrim, Ola Group's artificial intelligence arm has announced its acquisition of BharatSah'AI'yak, an AI platform developed by the technology consultancy firm Samagra. While the financial details remain undisclosed, the acquisition includes the onboarding of Samagra's core AI team, a move aimed at enhancing Krutrim's reach in government and citizen services across India.

This acquisition seems like a strategic expansion for Krutrim, which became India's first AI unicorn in January 2024 after raising USD 75 million.
