New Delhi, May 16 -- Strong dust raising winds (25-35 kilometres per hour) are very likely over western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on May 16 and 17 and West Rajasthan during May 16-18, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its daily bulletin.
A gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2-3 C is likely over northwest India during the next two days, the IMD added.
In the Northeast, fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall, accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds at speeds of 30-50 kmph is likely during the next five days.
