Palu, April 20 -- The Palu City General Election Commission (KPU) Chairperson Agussalim Wahid expressed readiness to hold a revote for the legislative and presidential elections if Bawaslu or Panwaslu were to recommend it on necessary grounds.

"It is no issue if voting is to be re-held at polling stations that have come under the radar," he remarked in Palu on Saturday.

Wahid noted that the Palu City Election Commission had yet to obtain a report from the Election Supervisory Body or Panwaslu on the violations committed during the simultaneous voting on April 17, 2019.

"If it is substantiated that a revote is necessary, the KPU is ready to implement it," Wahid affirmed.
