Jakarta, Dec. 12 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) has asked investors to conduct sustainable businesses by launching the environmental impact analyses document (AMDAL) in its investment plan, a high-ranking official said here Thursday. "(As part of investment plan), AMDAL is one of the important documents required by the authority to assure that business project launched in certain places will be launched in a sustainable manner by complying with our terms and conditions," the ministry's secretary general, Bambang Hendroyono said at a discussion forum on gender mainstreaming in Jakarta.
