Bangladesh, Feb. 15 -- UK-based Hindu rights group, Secular Bangladesh Movement UK (SBMUK) has written a letter to Tulsi Gabbard, Director, National Intelligence seeing her attention to the pressing issue of atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and the unjust detention of Chinmay Krishna Das, an ISKCON monk.
SBMUKs president Pushpita Gupta in the letter stated, “The recent wave of violence against Hindus in Bangladesh has been alarming, with reports of attacks, murders, and forced conversions. The silence of the Bangladesh government and its failure to protect its minority communities are deeply concerning. Chinmay Krishna Dass arrest is a stark example of this persecution, and his release is imperative”.
