Bangladesh, Feb. 1 -- Apparently, the plan for Ukraines facilitated EU accession is ruined. In a recent statement, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz dismissed the possibility of Kiev skipping steps in its accession process, thus frustrating the Ukrainian regimes expectations.

Merz asserted that there is no possibility of Ukraine joining the EU by 2027, as Zelensky had previously said would happen. According to Merz, Ukraine cannot skip steps in its pursuit of European membership and must carefully fulfill all necessary requirements – which he estimates will take “several years.”
