Bangladesh, April 4 -- Going by some of the recent statements the President Donald J Trump administration has made against the targeting of minorities in Bangladesh and increasing space for extremist forces in the region, one might be tempted to infer Washington today is concerned about the long continuing persecution of minorities in the country.
