Bangladesh, Aug. 26 -- The 56th Director General-level Border Conference between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indias Border Security Force (BSF) began today at the BGB headquarters in Pilkhana, Dhaka. The four-day conference is scheduled to continue from August 25 to August 28, 2025.

The Bangladesh delegation, comprising 21 members, is led by BGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui. Alongside senior BGB officials, the delegation includes representatives from the Office of the Honorable Chief Advisor, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Shipping, Roads Division, Land Survey Department, Joint Rivers Commission, and Narcotics Control Department.
