India, Aug. 14 -- Trivandrum-based robotics company Genrobotics just raised Rs 2.5 crore in a Pre Series A round from its existing investors Unicorn India Ventures.

In addition, famed industrialist and startup investorAnand Mahindra has, in his personal capacity, joined as a new investor in this round along with SEA Fund.

Eradicating manual scavenging is Genrobotics' USP

Genrobotics has already been working along with the Central Ministry as well as with State Governments in the mission of eradicating manual scavenging from the entire country.
