India, Dec. 24 -- Hiring activity in India's telecommunications sector is showing measured but consistent improvement, supported by the continued rollout of 5G networks, early adoption of fixed-wireless access, and steadily rising data consumption. According to the latest TeamLease Employment Outlook Report, net employment change (NEC) in the telecom sector is projected at +1.9 per cent for the second half of the year (HY2), up from +1 per cent in the first half (HY1). While the growth remains modest, it reflects a sector that is undergoing a deliberate transformation rather than rapid expansion.
