Tashkent, May 20 -- Uzbek Senate held its regular plenary session on May 19. The bill "On the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was under scrutiny.

An article about changing the boundaries of electoral districts in solving administrative and territorial issues caused a heated discussion among MP's. According to them, changing the boundaries of electoral districts will affect the territory of the elected deputies. Due to the fact that this norm is not reflected in practice and other documents, the corresponding article has been included in the bill.
