Tashkent, April 22 -- As of April 1, 2019, the resident population of the Republic of Uzbekistan was 33.3 million and, from the beginning of the year, increased by 120.3 thousand, or 0.4%. In particular, the urban population was 16.8 million (50.5% of the total population), and the rural population - 16.5 million (49.5%).
