Egypt Sends Hepatitis Drugs to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, March 3 -- The Egyptian government delivered another batch of "Sofosbuvir-400mg" medicine for hepatitis C to Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Virology Research Institute under the Ministry of Health distributed 6720 pieces of the drug to patients after treatment.
So far, Egypt has sent a total of 13.4 tons of these drugs to Uzbekistan in 7 batches. Additionally, a supply agreement until 2025 includes 800,000 units of Daclatasvir and Sofosbuvir for hepatitis C and Entecavir for hepatitis B, costing 4.2 million dollars.
