India, Feb. 20 -- In 2024, over 2.7 million Americans traveled to Japan, marking a significant increase of 33% compared to 2023, as reported by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
According to the JNTO's New York Office, the number of American visitors to Japan in 2024 represented a 58% rise from the figures recorded in 2019, the last year considered "normal" before the onset of the COVID-19In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, travelers are increasingly seeking unique and memorable experiences, which is why Japan has become a favored destination.
