U.S., July 25 -- So far, Bangkok and major tourism hotspots in Thailand and Cambodia appear to be far removed from the conflict, except for ongoing TV reports; however, the fires of war can spread quickly. Visitors enjoy their favorite activities, the nightlife in Bangkok, and the peaceful beach retreats remain an oasis to escape the daily stress that visitors seek to relax from.
More and more countries, such as India and Germany, are warning their citizens not to visit the Thai-Cambodian border region, including the provinces of Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani, and part of Songkhla, specifically Chana, Na Thawi, Thepa, and Saba You in the South of Thailand.
