U.S., June 27 -- Scandinavian Airlines launches its new direct route from Copenhagen to Nuuk, Greenland, re-establishing a connection that was last flown more than two decades ago.

Greenland is becoming increasingly crucial for Denmark's tourism, and travelers are seeking immersive, nature-rich experiences. For SkyTeam member SAS, the route adds a unique Arctic destination to its network.

The launch coincides with the opening of Nuuk's new international airport and is part of SAS's broader strategy to build meaningful, long-term connectivity across the North Atlantic and beyond.
