India, July 7 -- This project was made possible through a strategic partnership between the Tourism Department and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Sub-Regional Office for Eastern Africa (SRO-EA), which provided both technical and financial support for the project.
Undertaken over a ten-month period from April 2024 to February 2025, the report offers an in-depth assessment of the economic, environmental, and social dimensions of cruise tourism in Seychelles. Drawing on extensive stakeholder consultations and robust data analysis, the report will now serve as the foundation for the development of a national Cruise Tourism Strategy.
