Edmund Bartlett, departed the island today for Toronto, Canada, where he will embark on a two-day strategic engagement mission designed to strengthen ties with one of the country's most important tourism markets. The visit, coordinated by the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), comes as Jamaica intensifies preparations for the upcoming winter season and accelerates recovery efforts following the impact of Hurricane Melissa.
Minister Bartlett underscored the continued importance of the Canadian market, noting that demand had been strong even before Hurricane Melissa.
