Us, Aug. 23 -- The event was attended by various distinguished guests, including the Chairman of the Hanam City Council, local National Assembly members, provincial and city council members, heads and members of veterans' organizations, and representatives from various organizations and social groups.

Prior to the event, a large Taegeukgi made with handprints and created by participants in the ' 6th Taegeukgi Drawing Contest ' hosted by the Hanam City Branch of the Korean Freedom Federation, held at the Hanam Sports Complex on July 18 was hoisted on the flagpole in front of the March 1st Independence Movement Day Monument in front of the City Hall.
