U.S., Aug. 2 -- Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) Chief Executive Officer, Juliana Kagwa, officially flagged off the 8th Edition of the Great Africa Cycling Safari (GACS) at the iconic Independence Monument in Kampala.

The ceremony marked the beginning of an inspiring 55-day, 6,000-kilometre journey across five East African countries-Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
