U.S, Dec. 25 -- On December 25, Georgia officially put into operation its largest newly built railway project, a 43.9-kilometer modernization linking Zestaponi and Khashuri in the heart of the country. Constructed by China Railway 23rd Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the project marks a major milestone in China-Georgia cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and a significant upgrade to Georgia's national transport infrastructure.
