U.S, Jan. 25 -- The International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), organised by IFEMA MADRID, closed its 2026 edition this Sunday with strong participation figures and a significant economic impact, reaffirming its position as one of the world's leading tourism industry events.
Over its five-day run, FITUR welcomed more than 255,000 visitors, consolidating attendance levels from previous editions. Professional attendance reached 155,000 visitors, with a notable 12% increase in international participation, in line with an 11% rise in international exhibitors. Public attendance during the weekend totalled 100,000 travellers.
