U.S, Feb. 2 -- Destinations International (DI) today announced a contract extension for President & CEO Don Welsh through December 31, 2027, extending the prior agreement that had been set to conclude at the end of 2026.

"Don's leadership continues to be a tremendous asset to Destinations International and the global destination organization community," said Leslie Bruce, chair of the DI Board of Directors and president & CEO of Banff & Lake Louise Tourism. Bruce credited Welsh with helping DI strengthen its relevance, expand its impact and position the association for long-term success amid an evolving global tourism landscape.
