Lucknow, Nov. 9 -- Uttar Pradeseh Director General of Police (DGP) O P Singh on Saturday said that authorities are in touch with political and religious leaders along with people for a confidence building effort ahead of the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya case.
"We have taken confidence building measures, we did around 10,000 meetings across the state with religious leaders and citizens. We are appealing to people of the state to not spread rumors on social media while strict monitoring is being done over rumour mongering ," he said.
