Solan, July 16 -- An unidentified gunmen opened fire at a house of a businessman, here at Saproon on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police (SSP) Madhusudan Sharma said that a massive manhunt had been launched and all the exit points had also been sealed, adding that a case was registered into the alleged crime.
The miscreant after opening the fire fled away towards Dohari Diwar area.
The SSP said that the CCTV footage of businessman's house showed that the miscreant, who was wearing red colour T-Shirt, came and opened fire towards the house of the businessman, Raj Kumar Mittal, at power house road in the area.
According to the SSP, an empty cartridge of 32 bore pistol had been recovered from the spot.
