Rai Bareli, Dec. 3 -- Two youths were killed after a speeding vehicle crushed them in the Dalmau area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Tuesday.
According to sources, Vivek (19) and his cousin Ankaj (20) used to sell some items to support their family at the crossroad of the Kanha village.
They were returning to their home at around 2115 hrs on Monday night when a speeding, oncoming vehicle rammed into them, leading to their on the spot death.
Following the accident, the driver of the vehicle fled from the spot.
Police is on the lookout for the absconding driver.
