Agartala, Feb. 23 -- Tripura government mulled and idea to mobilised clubs and social organizations to assist in the education of the daughters of poor widows in their respective localities along with monitoring the social welfare projects of the central and state governments in providing various facilities including nutrition, health and education to the children.
Officials said that in a review meeting yesterday Chief Minister has advised Social Welfare and Social Education department to encourage clubs and NGOs to join hands to help the poor people especially, for the education of girl children of widows.
