Hyderabad, June 27 -- Three persons were killed and two others grievously injured when the car in which they were travelling lost control and rammed into a lorry, coming from opposite direction, on National Highway No. 44 in Kamareddy district of Telangana on Thursday.

The victims, residents of Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad were on their way to the famous Saraswati temple in Basra to perform pujas when the accident occurred.
