Panaji, June 3 -- Special Shramik Express Train No. 05030 of Konkan Railway departed from Margao Railway Station at 1639 hrs carrying 228 passengers on board for Jasidih, Jharkhand on June 2 while 1400 passengers boarded at Karmali Station making total 1628 passengers on board.
The people who boarded the trains were stranded in Goa due to ongoing nationwide lockdown. A proper medical screening and other formalities of the passengers were carried out before they boarded on the train.
All the passengers were served with food packets, ORS packet, Biscuits packet, Wada Pav, five water bottles per person and sanitary napkins before boarding the train.
