Mumbai, March 12 -- The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday registered a massive gain of 383.67 points for the second straight session to close at 37,535.66 following heavy buying from domestic investors amid postive cues from global peers. The mood has turned clearly buoyant as the stock markets are expecting a full majority for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and hence a stable political regime.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 133.15 points to 11,301.20. After opening higher at 37,249.65, the Sensex rose further to a high of 37,586.63 sensex recorded day low of 37,230.85.

The Nifty registered day high and low at 11,320.40 and 11,227.00 respectively....
