Mumbai, March 12 -- The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday spurted by 481.56 points at 37,535.66 for the second straight session following heavy buying from domestic investors amid positive cues from global markets.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too surged by 133.15 points at 11,301.20.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 37,586.63 and 37,230.85 points respectively.
The Nifty registered day's high and low at 11,320.40 and 11,227.00 points, respectively.
