Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- The BSE Sensex on Tuesday recovered by 250 pts at 49,994.85 as fresh buying was seen in Capital Goods, Oil and Gas, Realty and Industrials stocks.
The Nifty gained by 35 pts to 14.,711.20.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 50.128.85 and 49,659.85 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 14,782.35 and 14,651.85
respectively.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.41 pc while Small Cap fell by 0.01 pc.
In 30 scrips 14 advanced while 16 declined.
The gainers were ONGC by 5.64 pc to Rs 112.30, L& T by 1.50 pc to Rs 1474, Bajaj finance by 1.17 pc to Rs 5442.65 and Bajaj Finserv by 0.85 pc to Rs 10,085.
The losers were Asian Paints by 2.83 pc to Rs 2319.65, Kotak Bank by 2.05 pc to Rs 1908.40, Maru...
