Mumbai, Jan. 21 -- The BSE sensex on Tuesday slipped 128.18 points at 41,400.73 as selling was seen in Materials, FMCG, Finance, Industrials, Telecom and Auto stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dropped 38.85 points to 12,185.70.
The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 41,532.59 and 41,301.63 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded day intra-day high and low at 12,230.05 and 12,162.45 points respectively.
The sectoral indices like Materials, FMCG, Finance, Industrials, Telecom and Auto stocks.
The losers were M & M by 2.15 pc to Rs 554.90, Tata Steel by 2.11 pc to Rs 480.30, Titan by 1.75 pc to Rs 1166.90 and Asian Paints by 1.71 pc to rs 1817.
