Mumbai, Jan. 20 -- The BSE Sensex on Wednesday ended at a new peak at 49,792.12, up by 393.83 pts, as buying was seen across the board amid strong global cues.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too, rose by 123.55 pts at 14,644.70.
The Sensex registered days high and low at 49,874.42 and 49,373.68 pts, respectively.
The Nifty recorded days high and low at 14,666.45 and 14,517.55 pts, respectively.
