Mumbai, March 22 -- The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday slipped by 81.70 points at 38,305.05 on profit booking by local operators at higher level.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too eased by 27.55 points to 11,493.50.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 38,564.71 and 38,266.75 respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 11,572.80 and 11,481.90 points respectively.
The losers were Maruti Suzuki by 1.16 pc to Rs 6603.50, ONGC by 1.05 pc to Rs 150.25, Reliance Industries by 0.89 pc to Rs 1363.35 and M & M by 0.81 pc to Rs 674.40.
The gainers were L & T by 2.34 pc to Rs 1405, NTPC by 1.31 pc to Rs 131, Tata Steel by 1.09 pc to Rs 519.15 and Yes Bank by 1.09 pc to Rs ...
