Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- Sliding by more than 600 points on Tuesday, the BSE Sensex on Wednesday bounced back by 417 points to 37,375.85 as fresh buying witnessed across the board amid positive global cues. The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) to rose by 119 points to 11,044.90. The Sensex registered day high and low at 37,409.31 and 37,000.77 Points respectively. The Nifty recorded day high and low at 11,059.05 and 10,935.60 points respectively. The sectoral indices like Materials, Finance, Industrials, Utilities and Bankex pushed the market up today. The gainers were Tata Steel by 4.61 pc to Rs 364.45, VEDL By 4.26 pc to Rs 145.70, Yes Bank by 3.40 pc to Rs 76.10 And Tech Mahindra by 3 pc to Rs 658.20. The losers were Sun Pharma by 5.10 ...
