Chennai, Sept. 29 -- Security arrangements have been tightened
across Tamil Nadu ahead of tomorrow judgement in the Babri Masjid
demolition case.
Police sources said the centre has issued an alert to all states to
tighten security as the Special Court for CBI cases in Lucknow
would pronounce the verdict tomorrow.
As per the alert, security has been tightened in communally sensitive
and hyper-sensitive areas to prevent possible clashes post the judgment.
In its alert, the Centre said that the judgment could have an impact
on the law and order situation, as fringe elements on both sides might
communalise the verdict.
