New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- Supreme Court on Thursday asked the former interim Director of CBI to be personally present in the Court on February 12 to explain why the CBI officer heading the probe in the case, AK Sharma, was transferred without the leave of the court in connection with the alleged Bihar shelter home cases. A bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi, said that the former CBI interim director M Nageswara Rao had, seemed prima facie, committed the contempt of court for shifting CBI officer A K Sharma from Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case without taking court approval.
