Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- The Rupee on Wednesday rallied by 56 paise to 77.85 against the US Dollar in early trade amid positive opening in domestic equity market and easing crude oil prices, the dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit recorded intra day high and low at 71.06 and 70.84 points respectively.
The Indian Currency surged due to weak Dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in stock market, they added.
