Mumbai, June 29 -- The Rupee on Wednesday dropped nine paise to 78.86 against the USD due to rising demand for the greenback by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. The local unit was seen weak in early trade owing to a strong Dollar against other world currencies.

The Rupee unit registered the days high and low at 78.80 and 78.90 respectively against the US Dollar, dealers added. UNI NV ACL
