Puducherry, Nov. 30 -- Puducherry Lt Governor Tamilisai Sopundararajan on Tuesday inspected a door-to-door vaccination campaign held at Raja Nagar here, in a bid to make Puducherry a 100 percent vaccinated state.
Senior health officials also accompanied her.
Talking to news persons on the occasion,the LG said that there is no immediate threatz of Omicron virus in Puducherry.However, three persons who returned to Puducherry from South Africa are under observation.A consultation meeting to take precautionary measures to tackle any situation arising out of Omicron was held at Raj Nivas today and it was decided to impose certain restrictions to tourists coming to Puducherry at border points.
