Kakinada, Aug. 1 -- When compared to past few days, the COVID infection rate has come down in East Godavari with 876 fresh cases reported on Saturday.
However Kakinada and Rajahmundry cities continue to lead in the district with 149 tested positive in Kakinada city and 124 in Rajahmundry city, official sources said.
Even among mandals also both these areas are leading in having the highest number of fresh positive cases, which is evident with Kakinada rural recording 45 and Rajahmundry rural 50 cases.
Of the remaining mandals , Anaparti reported 35 cases, Alamuru and Biccavolu 32 each, Yelesweram 30, Rayavaram 22, Kapileswerapuram 21, Tuni 20, Prathipadu 17, Gandepalli 16, Allavaram 15, Amalapuram 14, Addateegala and Peddapuram 12 cases ...
