Bhubaneswar, Dec. 12 -- Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced a package for the development of Ekamra Kshetra, the seat of 11th-century Lingaraj temple and its adjacent areas.
Making the announcement, Mr Patnaik said the 66- acre Ekamra Khetra Yojana will have a beautiful entrance gateway, renovation of ancient Bindusagar pond and other heritage ponds, Lingaraj Heritage Project and beautification of Kedargouri-Muketeswar premises.
He announced a rehabilitation package for the affected people whose land and property will be acquired by the government for the project and appealed to them to sacrifice their land for the beautification of the Lingaraj Heritage project.
